author of stage plays and pantomimes. Her work has been performed across the world, from the USA to Australia, the UK to Africa.

As well as pantomimes, which she loves, Hilary has written small cast plays and community plays, including several Christian plays.

​

Her play "Sammy" won a national playwriting award in the UK, and "The Price of Firewood" was highly commended by the judges of the Verity Bargate Award.

 

Her latest play, "The Delicate Question", was inspired by the wrecking of the whaling ship, "Essex" and its aftermath. The same true story inspired Herman Melville to write "Moby Dick."
